End-User Licence Agreement
Taimaka QuickBooks Connector · Effective 23 September 2026
1. Who this applies to
The Taimaka QuickBooks Connector (the "Application") is an internal tool operated by The Taimaka Project ("Taimaka"), 1717 15th St NW, Washington, DC 20009, USA. It is not sold, listed or offered to the public. It may be connected only to QuickBooks Online companies owned or operated by Taimaka or its affiliated entities, and used only by people Taimaka has authorised.
2. Licence
Taimaka grants its authorised staff and contractors a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Application for Taimaka's internal accounting, financial reporting, audit and reconciliation work. No other use is permitted.
3. What the Application does
With the permission of a QuickBooks administrator, the Application obtains access to a company's accounting data through Intuit's QuickBooks Online Accounting API, and makes that data available to Taimaka's internal tools. The Application does not process payments.
4. Disconnecting
A QuickBooks administrator can disconnect the Application at any time from QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps → Connected apps) or by contacting ops@taimaka.org. Disconnecting revokes the Application's access.
5. No warranty
The Application is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Figures obtained through it should be checked against QuickBooks Online before they are relied on for filings or statutory reporting.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Taimaka is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Application.
7. Intuit
Intuit Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the Application. QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc.
8. Changes and governing law
Taimaka may update this agreement; the effective date above will change when it does. This agreement is governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States.
